It does not take up much space at all except obviously for the size of it. It is very thin in the back it is HDMI which is very nice for the new DVD players and such - everything just goes right into the front. I am trying to keep the light low so you can see the picture.
The picture is wonderful especially for anything that is broadcast in HD whether it is through the dish or direct TV or your local cable company.
